An open academic forum for middle and high school students passionate about philosophy — student paper presentations, guest lectures and a philosophy hackathon. A festival of ideas, where young minds roam free in the ocean of philosophy.
The Secondary School Philosophy Conference of Zhejiang (SSPCZ) is an open academic forum for middle and high school students passionate about philosophy. We aim to create a festival of ideas and exchange — inviting experts as guest speakers and combining lectures with student paper presentations to bring philosophy to every participant and kindle a spirit of inquiry among secondary school students.
The first two sessions were successfully held in a hybrid offline-and-online format, welcoming Prof. Jiang Yuhui, Prof. Wei Ran, Prof. Wu Jing, Prof. Hu Xingming, Prof. Lin Wei and other experts from a range of fields for keynote lectures. With strong support from high-school philosophy societies across Hangzhou and enthusiastic student participation, the conference continues to advance philosophy among secondary school students.
This session again focuses on middle and high school students across Zhejiang. Through three pillars — student paper presentations, guest lectures and a philosophy hackathon — it brings philosophy to every participant and kindles the spirit of inquiry in young minds.
